The recovery from the pandemic combined with the energy crisis led to a surge in costs for music venues – how is that affecting their ability to take more risks in booking new talent?
The local scene is on the rise and in some instances venues receive support to boost their bookings of emerging acts. Throw Brexit in the mix making it more difficult for Anglo-saxon music to shine through, what does this mean for local repertoires and European repertoire at large? How can we make the best of the situation and boost the vitality of the European music scene?
We'll address these questions together with the representatives of Liveurope, an EU-funded platform gathering 20+ music venues across the continent to boost their programming of up-and-coming artists at European level.
