tays (12 July, 1999 in Leiden), moved to Groningen at a young age, where he began his musical journey. As a hip-hop artist with a penchant for introspective lyrics and hints of jazz, he brings a unique flavour to the northern Dutch musical landscape. His music, ranging from thoughtful to raw and old-school, blends refreshing elements together, as heard on his debut EP 'kwestie van tays', launched in December 2022. An emerging talent in the North of the Netherlands, tays looks ahead to new opportunities to share his unique sound live, with his music reflecting not only his own evolution but also the versatility of his hometowns.
