Raised on a steady diet of moshpits and stagedives, Peter is at the forefront of the political struggle for more attention and support for popular culture. As an MP for the Socialist Party, he wrote the first policy letter in 15 years on pop music. He is also responsable for the political initiatives to ban ticket touting in the Netherlands.
