Sam Shemtob is a director of FEAT, which he launched in 2019 together with some of Europe's leading promoters to fight for fairer ticket resale. FEAT was instrumental in uniting the live sector to call for landmark regulation of online secondary ticketing marketplaces in the Digital Services Act, which comes into force in 2024. FEAT is now campaigning with a coalition of other live events organisations to Make Tickets Fair! by empowering and educating consumers on how to avoid being ripped off by ticket resellers. Prior to helping establish FEAT, Sam founded leading communications consultancy Name PR, which counted the Society of Ticket Agents and Resellers (STAR), the Association of Independent Festivals, Twickets and Eventbrite among its clients.
