Yesterday, ESNS announced the first 42 artists for Eurosonic. They were selected in collaboration with 28 EBU radio stations and represent 31 European countries. With a ‘professionals only’ programme at the Oosterpoort, the Eurosonic festival returns to the city on Wednesday.

Langa has been selected by Spotify RADAR for Noorderslag. Through RADAR, Spotify shines a spotlight on emerging artists from all over the world. The programme, which now operates in 183 countries and has supported more than 1,000 artists to date, encourages discovery, connection and cultural impact, and offers the stars of tomorrow the stage they deserve.

Alongside Elmer, Milolaathetlukken, Mula, Hondenfokker and Langa, Otto Club, MAHA, RADIO Z, Eskalatie, FEMI and Ontaard are also on the Noorderslag line-up.

As is tradition, the Saturday of ESNS is entirely dedicated to Noorderslag. For decades, the closing day at De Oosterpoort has been a key event for Dutch pop music, where new acts can perform in front of a large audience for the first time and the Popprijs is awarded. 3FM broadcasts live from Noorderslag.

ESNS27 takes place from 13 to 16 January in Groningen. From Wednesday to Friday, European artists will be performing at various venues across the city as part of Eurosonic. Noorderslag takes place on Saturday 16 January at De Oosterpoort.

Ticket sales for Eurosonic and Noorderslag begin on Friday 25 September at 12:00. Festival tickets will be available from that day via esns.nl.
