ESNS introduces NEXT GEN as new programme track for young professionals

ESNS introduces NEXT GEN as a programme track running throughout the ESNS Conference. As a new generation brings fresh perspectives and new ways of working to the music industry, ESNS will create more space for young professionals and new voices, while honouring and celebrating the knowledge and experience of those who shaped the industry before them. After all, the next generation does not start from scratch, it builds on what came before.

With this programme track for the conference, ESNS wants to build onto the bridge between generations. NEXT GEN will be reflected in selected sessions, meetings, networking opportunities and other programme moments across ESNS27, bringing different generations and perspectives together throughout the festival. With a NEXT GEN label, ESNS highlights this programme on the website and in the timetable.

In the lead-up to ESNS27, new programme elements carrying the NEXT GEN label will continue to be added to the NEXT GEN page.

NEXT GEN Kick-off

To guide the new professionals through the conference, ESNS hosts a kick off on Wednesday. Delegates that are new to the event get practical tips about the programme, are given a tour of the building, meet peers and learn how to navigate the ESNS Conference, Eurosonic, Noorderslag, De Oosterpoort and the city of Groningen.
