The new Wednesday programme opens with Meet the Agencies, an invite-only networking event bringing together European booking agencies and festivals. Organised by ESNS together with the European Talent Exchange, YOUROPE and the European Festival Awards the event gives agents and festival bookers the opportunity to meet and connect ahead of the festival. Several key European agencies have already confirmed their attendance, with more to be announced in the run-up to ESNS27.

Allo Floride, Cabin Artists, Doomstar Bookings, EBB Music, Echo Live, Emerged Agency, International Talent Booking, Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion GmbH, MOTHER ARTISTS, One Fiinix Live, Pitch & Smith, poj poj, Powerline Agency, Primary Talent International, Pure, SIGNAL & WAVE, THE TEAM and United Talent Agency  already confirmed. More agencies and festival bookers will be announced.

To guide the new professionals through the conference, ESNS hosts a kick off on Wednesday. Delegates that are new to the event get practical tips about the programme, are given a tour of the building, meet peers and learn how to navigate the ESNS Conference, Eurosonic, Noorderslag, De Oosterpoort and the city of Groningen.

The afternoon continues with a dedicated opening at De Oosterpoort for invited guests and music industry professionals with a Delegate Pass, officially kicking off ESNS27. Delegates and invitees can expect live music from emerging artists and a celebration of Irish music, the focus of the festival in 2027. Further details about the opening will be announced soon.

In the first half of Wednesday evening, exciting recently signed artists, represented by key European booking agencies will take the stage at De Oosterpoort for a series of exclusive showcases.

Open only to Delegate Pass holders, the showcases offer an additional opportunity to discover these emerging acts ahead of their official ESNS showcases without waiting in line. Later in the week these artists will play a second slot in one of the venues during Eurosonic. After the delegate-only-showcases, music professionals join the festival crowd at Eurosonic in the city.
