Beans & Fatback started out as a country, blues, and R&B outfit centred around singer/songwriter Onno Smit. This musician from Dutch band Lefties Soul Connection decided to combine his passion for cooking with making an album, so, during a couple of live sessions with different musicians they recorded an album's worth of songs. And in return, Onno prepared a meal for them for each session. Latest album With Skin Attached is a fine mix of rhythm & blues, rock 'n roll and pop.
