At the crossroads of Paris, Zürich and Luanda in Angola, lies the small Swiss town of Brugg, where Dino Brandão takes refuge in his bunker. Originally it was the djembe of his father, then the guitar enabled him to forget almost everything. By adding his voice, he was able to become Frank Powers, to sing with friends (Sophie Hunger, Faber), and to make strangers smile. Dino Brandão has an eye for baroque, ornamentation and old percussion, plays on foggy synthesizers, kicks his drum machine and blows the bugle.
