French 79 is the solo alias of Simon Henner. The man from Marseilles boasts an impressive resume: talented album producer, a singer, guitarist (Husbands, Nasser), a sought after remixer (Black Devil Disco Club, NZCA/Lines, Field Music...) and composer for films and ads. Not far from Kölsch in terms of melodic approach to club music, with an unmistakable neo-French touch, French 79 delivers a very emotional yet classy electronic set.
