Born in the Balkans, Iva Lorens is a singer/songwriter and producer who began writing songs when she was nine, eventually creating her own sound after moving to Berlin. In 2021 Lorens decided to sing in her native Serbian language, and released her debut album ‘Svitanje’ in March 2023 to critical acclaim. Iva Lorens cites singers Florence Welch, Lorde and Baby Doll as her musical role models, and she grew up with bands like Ekaterina Velika, Gorillaz and Depeche Mode.
