Klawo is a 7-piece jazz-funk ensemble based in Gdańsk. Started in 2020 as a live band for Konstanty Kostka’s solo lo-fi hip hop project. Shortly after they decided to write music together and released debut LP ‘Klawo’ in 2022. The Polish combo released their first live album last August. Their mostly instrumental compositions draw inspiration from musical styles like funk, psychedelia, hip hop, jazz and Afrobeat, with plenty of room for improvisation.
