This London four-piece have been gigging relentlessly and creating a buzz since they formed the band less than a year ago. Little Grandad’s songs sound like a sort of Venn diagram of rust-belt Americana, Brooklyn-informed slacker-rock, and warm yet ramshackle British indie guitar rock. It’s chaotic, teeters on the brink of collapse, but somehow hangs together. It’s properly exciting because you can’t put your finger on what it is, and neither can they. Debut album 'Speak Softly, Son', will be out January 22nd on Communion Records.
