Over the last decade, in Billboard's Hot 100 Year-End Chart, women have only accounted for 12.7% of songwriters and 3.9% of producers. Studies show that for every 49 male producers there is only 1 female producer. While the triumphs are still overshadowed by the struggles, in the recording studios, female muses and sorceresses have broken down barriers and made a name for themselves in the world of music production.
