Andrew Gerzso studied music at the New England Conservatory (in Boston), California Institute of the Arts (Los Angeles) and the Koninklijk Conservatorium (in The Hague). From 1977 to 2017 Andrew Gerzso held management positions at IRCAM in the fields of scientific and musical research, creation, musical production and pedagogy. From 1980 to 1995, he collaborated with Pierre Boulez at the Collège de France and, until 2011, on the electroacoustic production of Répons(1981-2011), Dialogue de l'ombre double (1985), Explosante-fixe… (1991 -1995) and Anthèmes 2 (1997). Since 2012 he has coordinated the Ulysses project – now the Ulysses Platform – as part of the European Commission's Europe Creative in the cultural field and serves as an expert for the European Commission's H2020 scientific projects.
