David Weiszfeld, founder and CEO of Soundcharts, started at Universal Music France at 19, quickly rising to Head of International Marketing / Development. During 2004-2013, he navigated the industry’s shift from physical to digital media. In 2013, he founded bSHARP, offering consulting to artists and record companies, and developed a data system for clients. This led to Soundcharts, a data platform launched in 2016, now a global leader providing insights to the music industry. David, a trained audio engineer from S.A.E and a conservatory-trained musician, blends technical skills with musical expertise. His leadership at Soundcharts has shifted from mere data analysis to solving broad industry data challenges.
