Co-Founder, Music Declares Emergency Netherlands
FRÉ is a Dutch singer, songwriter, producer and activist, and an emerging voice in the international pop scene. Her music is intimate yet powerful, giving voice to a generation navigating questions of equality, identity and a livable planet. Her latest album, Gemini (2025), explores duality and celebrates paradox. The album was launched with a release tour at renowned venues including Paradiso. Her work has been featured on BBC Radio and Dutch national radio (NPO Radio 1, Radio 2, 3FM and Radio 5).

Alongside her artistic practice, FRÉ speaks on the role of music and art in the climate and ecological crisis, building bridges between culture, positive communication and systemic change. She is co-founder of Music Declares Emergency NL, part of the international movement supported by artists such as Billie Eilish and Radiohead. She holds a master’s degree from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she wrote A Four-Step Guide to Reducing Your Environmental Impact as an Artist in Today’s Music Industry. Through conferences, festivals and conservatories, she speaks on artist activism, sustainability in music, and the cultural narratives that drive systemic change. In 2025, she co-created MDE’s Your Unique Impact training.
