Laurent Marceau has been working in the radio industry since 1981 now. Senior Music Producer at the BBC from 1991 to 2001, he joined the EBU (European Broadcasting Union). In his position, he looks after the pop/rock music exchanges between public service radios. Over the years, special events and operations featured bands and artists, such as Coldplay, Radiohead, Oasis, Amy Winehouse, Nick Cave and many others. Up-and-coming artists are also central to his mission, for instance through the Eurosonic festival in Groningen.
