Martijn is live music researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is part of the POPLIVE project, a national research project on the position of artists, venues and festivals in the live music ecology. Martijn is the author of the Dutch Live Music Monitor and works on several other Dutch and international projects on live music. He is also a senior lecturer in leisure, events & attractive cities at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, a board member of pop venue MEZZ and advisor in the field of cultural funding.
