Since October 2024, Nicole has been the Secretary General of IMPF, the global trade body for independent music publishers. IMPF brings together a dynamic community of more than 300 companies, from boutique innovators to leading global independents, united by one belief: the song and the composition are the true engine of the music industry.
IMPF champions a vibrant, diverse, and fair music economy. It works across continents and legal systems to secure better conditions for indie publishers and for the songwriters and composers whose creativity fuels the entire sector. Through advocacy, industry partnerships, research, and global convening, IMPF ensures that independent music publishers continue to be the powerhouse and the innovators of the music world.
A public policy professional with over 20 years of experience in intellectual property, media, and digital policy, Nicole has long worked at the intersection of creativity and regulation. Before joining IMPF, she held roles including Director at AEPO-ARTIS and IP Policy Lead for Europe at Meta.
