Susan Abramovitch, one of the world’s leading entertainment lawyers, is a Toronto-based partner at Gowling WLG. As Leader of the Entertainment & Sports Industry Sector Group, her practice covers transactions and disputes in music, film, television, videogame, branded entertainment, sports, e-sports, live theatre, fine arts and book publishing.

Susan works with domestic and international clients on entertainment and sports law matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on deal terms, structures and dispute resolution, international industry standards and rights acquisitions.

Susan is program director for Osgoode Hall Law School's Certificate in Entertainment Law and a lecturer in law and music at the University of Toronto. She is also an executive committee member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers and Co-Chair of the IAEL’s annual Legal Update panel at ADE.
