Tessa Rose Jackson is a film-composer, producer and artist who releases her own music and art under the name ‘Someone’. She tells science-fiction inspired stories wrapped in dreamy, emotionally rich psych-pop. With her six-piece band she has played shows as ‘Someone’ at Eurosonic, Reeperbahn, MaMa and the Great Escape - as well as a live session for Cerys Matthews on BBC 6 Music last November. Having released her debut album ‘Shapeshifter’ to international critical acclaim in 2020, Jackson will drop her sophomore album ‘Owls’ on February 3, 2023. This record is a kaleidoscopic, electronic trip and touches heavily on Jackson’s love of French duo Air’s space pop as well as the chilled out 90s and 00’s trip-hop sounds of Zero 7, Massive Attack and Portishead.
