Toni is the Campaigns & Communications Manager at Music Venue Trust and a member of its Senior Management Team, helping shape its strategic direction, national campaigns and public communications.
With eight years’ experience running grassroots music venues, Toni brings first-hand sector knowledge to her work. She oversees public engagement, media strategy, campaign development and communications that strengthen the organisation’s influence across the music industry and beyond.
An experienced speaker, facilitator and podcast host, Toni regularly represents MVT at events, discussing the future of live music, cultural infrastructure and the challenges facing grassroots music venues. She hosts The Last Safe Space, MVT’s podcast, bringing together industry voices to explore the people, issues and ideas shaping its future.
Her approach combines strategic leadership with a deep commitment to grassroots culture. Having operated venues herself, Toni is passionate about ensuring these spaces are recognised not simply as stepping stones for artists, but as essential cultural and community infrastructure deserving of long-term investment, protection and support.
