Vincent Patty
ESNS: 2023 , 2024
As a teenager Vincent Patty decided rapping would make for fun times, so he put pen to paper and words to beats. In 2002 Vincent, by that time already better known as Jiggy Djé, dropped his first album with his group DAC. In 2006 the still young rapper, student and freelance radio-host and columnist figured he would enjoy releasing his first solo album and running his own record label, so he founded Noah’s Ark. After releasing two solo albums, some group efforts and multiple releases by other artists (mainly existing of close friends), he organically built the second biggest rap label in Holland. Today Vincent Patty runs both Noah’s Ark and Top Notch, as the two companies merged but remained to exist as two separate labels and brands. Not only focusing on their core: hiphop music and culture, but also exploring the digital realm and becoming increasingly strong as a partner to brands that show interest in hiphop and youth culture in the Netherlands.
