Twin Atlantic werd bekend door het feit dat hun single Free de soundtrack was van de historische space jump van Felix Baumgarter in 2012. Maar dat is niet hun enige claim to fame: de band scoorde al menig hit in de UK en stond in het voorprogramma van grote bands als Smashing Pumpkins, Biffy Clyro and Thirty Seconds to Mars. De band deelt een liefde voor alternatieve rock, punk-pop en heeft een ambitieuze en catchy rock sound. Hun laatste album The Great Divide kwam uit in augustus 2014.
